A very enjoyable story that had me biting my nails at times and swooning at others. Very hot sex between them! I will definitely be reading the next book in the "Bad Boys of Football Series."

This is an electrifying romance between Cole and Anna. The story begins with the famous football player, Cole Taylor, and his grandmother's dying wish for him to settle down and marry a nice, loving women. He immediately begins his quest for the "good women", and thus, unexpectedly enters into the story this nice, young school teacher, Anna Davis. From across the room in a bar, they both discover each other, and the game begins. During the evening's events on their chance meeting, Cole will eventually compel Anna into marrying him. Since Anna was planning to do something so totally off-key from her mundane life this night, she agrees to do something so not like herself and gets hitched to Cole. Thus begins the hot and heavy sexual erogenous romance...the honeymoon! And it does not stop throughout the book.
It will be a few pages down the road when Cole reveals to Anna what his initial intentions were in marrying her; she will feel betrayed but she still goes along with the lie to appease the grandmother's wish. This brings a great deal of turmoil to the tale, but, oh wow, the make-up-can't-live-without-sex is to die for. Eventually, they both will recognize and confess their enduring love for each other.
I really enjoy reading Bella Andre's novels for the down-and-dirty passionate, stimulating read. Bella always puts a well-written story together so that you can actually feel the sexual tension, anticipation and then the real life one-on-one body slamming...mindless, wonderful, screaming sin sex. If you want to read some slam-dunk hotness, then I highly recommend this book!
I read this book in one day.
I fell in love with Cole and Anna. The characters are well-developed and flawed. They play off each other expertly. And their chemistry is off the charts.
Anna is sweet and innocent. And Cole shows her the ropes in the bedroom and allows her to unleash her sexual power and appetite. Cole is brash and a definite Alpha male. He is used to getting his way. He's used to women who want him just for his fame or money so he keeps getting himself in trouble. But the refreshing part is that Anna compliments him and lets him to be himself.
Cole and Anna barely knew each other so they get to know each other through the book and it is interesting to see them interact with each other and their friends and family. Neither realizes what is happening to them and how they have started to change because of the other person. And even though they meet and get married at first sight, they have a great connection. And it is this connection that makes their relationship believable.
The story is a romance so the ending is a bit as you would expect it. Anyone who loves erotic romance and lust/love at first sight will enjoy this story.
Please note this is book 3 in the series but it is standalone. 4.5 stars
